Image magazine, which was founded in 1973, has regularly been ranked among the best college general interest magazines in the nation. The Society of Professional Journalists has judged it the top-ranked or a national finalist magazine in its Mark of Excellence awards three times since 2005, and its content and design are consistently recognized for excellence in other national judging competitions.
Image offer our student journalists the opportunities to produce in-depth coverage of the issues and events that affect the campus and community, and it provides extensive coverage of the sports, arts, and cultural trends that reflect life at TCU. And its in-depth and arts content complements the online daily coverage provided on TCU 360, our news site for newspaper, broadcast and original content.
Although the magazine, along with its sister newspaper, broadcast and online publications operate under the oversight of the Schieffer School’s student publications office, the student staffs make all the editorial calls from news to design to advertising.
Image is published semi-annually and distributed on the TCU campus and in nearby businesses. For more information about Image, contact faculty adviser Robert Bohler.
